Snowshoe trail - Metsch (signposted)

Take the Stand-Xpress gondola to the starting point of the route at the mid-station. Here the snowshoe route quickly leads off the piste into the Metsch forest. A path used in summer for alpine farming crosses the Metschgraben over a small bridge. If it is cold enough, icy formations form in the stream bed. The remaining elevation gain is climbed along the forest edge in open terrain. After a total of 190 meters of elevation, the Bühlberg chairlift is reached. From here, it is only five minutes to the Bergrestaurant Bühlberg, where the bus stop for the return journey to Lenk is also located. If you still have energy, you can add the Bühlberg snowshoe trail.
