Snowshoe trail Gumen - Ortstockhaus

First follows a relatively steep descent to the Braunwaldalp (Oberstafel). The route runs along the ski slope (poles and snowshoes or microspikes recommended) and leads on a pleasant, prepared path to the junction to the Ortstockhaus. Those who do not want to miss this architecturally monument-protected gem at 1772 m above sea level can make a short detour of 5 to 10 minutes. The reward: one of the most beautiful sun terraces of the Glarus region and a magnificent view of the Ortstock.
