Scenic sledding run

With the gondola lift, you can comfortably reach the Eggli mountain station (1557 m above sea level) from the car-free chalet village of Gstaad. The downhill run of the sledding route starts a few meters behind the cozy mountain restaurant, from whose sun terrace you can enjoy a great panoramic view. In the line of sight of countless mountain peaks of the Bernese, Valais, Vaud, and Fribourg Alps, among others, the Sanetsch Alpine Pass and the Spitzhorn appear.

The sledding route, suitable for families and adventure sledders, leads through cozy forests and the quiet Gstaad mountain world. From above, the view extends into the side valleys towards Turbach, Lauenen, and Gsteig. After about an hour of enjoyable riding, the sledding route, which is also used by walkers, ends in the Gstaad district of Grund.

From there, you can walk back to the Eggli valley station or to the center of the famous ski resort Gstaad. The return takes a few minutes.
