Best Time of Year
Description
With a beautiful view of the Signina group and over the Rhine Valley, the descent goes fast from Curnius down to Falera. The sledding path passes rustic alpine huts and the well-known Mirasteilas Observatory. Falera is located on a sunny terrace on the left slope side of the Vorder Rhine Valley. Among other things, the mountain village is known for the Parc la Mutta, the largest and most important megalithic site in Switzerland. From Curnius you can sled rapidly down the 3.5-kilometer-long sled run all the way to Falera at the valley station. From there you can easily get back to the starting point with the Falera-Curnius chairlift. Even after dark, the sledding fun from Curnius to Falera does not end.
Sledding during the day
In good snow conditions, the run is open for your free use every day.
