Description

This is what ski tours are like. Open slopes with plenty of space for great turns, a warming wooden wall at a hut for the break, and a panorama on the summit that inspires over and over again.

It is best to start the tour from Inner Zalön. However, it is also possible to start 300 meters lower, in Safien Platz. At the beginning, we trace the tracks over the first slope and over the "Hütta Tobel". A forest road serves as orientation. Soon you will spot the Zalöner huts and can already look forward to a short break. The treeline is now definitely reached and the slopes become even more open. Even those who enjoy the ascent a lot will see here the great potential for generous turns on the descent.

The last climb to the ridge has a few sections over 30 degrees and requires a good route choice in demanding conditions. Caution is also advised on the last two meters. Because now you could almost be startled by the slowly appearing panorama. The view up here is always fantastic.

The descent takes place on the ascent route, with the spacious slopes allowing different variations.

Our tip is to NOT descend through the forest on the opposite side of the ravine at the end of the descent. On the one hand, the descent is not very rewarding and, on the other hand, the wildlife that find shelter and food there will thank you.
