Description
This hike leads around Lake Silvaplana. The idyllic path - which was already used by the Romans - first goes through the Fratta forest to Sils. It then continues along the lake shore to the waterfall "Ova dal Sagl." At the foot of the waterfall is the Nietzschestein. It could be observed at the time how Friedrich Nietzsche sat on this stone by the shore of Lake Silvaplana and formulated his thoughts. Among other things, the idea of eternal recurrence came to him here - the basic concept for his poetic main work "Thus Spoke Zarathustra." The viewpoint Crap Alv (White Stone) received its name from the white rocks found throughout the area. The last viewpoint of the circular hike is Crest'Alta. Where once a beautiful excursion restaurant stood, a cozy bench now invites you to linger.
