Sentiero Cima di Medeglia

Nestled in the heart of Ticino, this enjoyable, undemanding walk takes you to one of the most evocative viewpoints in Canton Ticino, affording magnificent views over the regions of Bellinzona, Locarno and Lugano. The area is becoming a popular destination not only on account of its great views, but also due to its peaceful, bucolic setting. Several sections following an old military road which once supplied artillery emplacements, are also of great interest.
