Sent – Val Sinestra (return)

The route starts on a gently ascending road just outside Sent (1,440 m above sea level). The path first follows a tree-lined avenue heading east. From the PostAuto stop Sent, Tschern (service stopped in winter; caution, the path is closed from here in case of avalanche danger) the path continues relatively flat but with some curves along the road through the forest to Hotel Val Sinestra. The former spa house is nestled in the steep slopes of the valley where the Brancla river has deeply cut into the earth over centuries. It is worth a look inside the hotel, as the whole building still presents itself in the architectural style of the early 20th century. Slightly below the former spa house, directly on the river, is the associated mountain inn. The same way leads back to Sent (from Sent half-hourly connections back to Scuol).
