Description

From the Sent, Plaz PostAuto stop head northeast to the edge of the village. Crossing a field road, you traverse the meadows above Sent and reach Telf through a woodland. Always following this path, it climbs over Chünatsch to Alp Spadla. Following the valley course northwest leads over the first saddle of the long hike, the Fuorcla Spadla between Piz Soer and Piz Spadla. From here, the dark Piz Nair and next to it Piz Tasna can be seen. Further to the right, above the Tiral plain, you can see the second crossing “Fuorcla Davo Lais” or “Fuorcla Davo Dieu” and behind it the striking walls of Fluchthorn. In this direction, you descend from Fuorcla Spadla to the Tiral plain. The route leads left of Mot over the multicolored moraine fields to the lakes of Davo Lais. Around the larger lake on the left, you reach the “Fuorcla” between Piz Davo Dieu and Piz Davo Lais. The last descent to Davo Dieu in the catchment area of the Fimba stream “Aua da Fenga” is straightforward and after about an hour the day’s destination, the Heidelberger Hut, is reached.

Those seeking distance from noise and hustle will find what they want here. In the middle of the Silvretta, in this barren area, humans are lonelier on the Fuorcla Davo Lais than the ibex.
