Segnes Trek - Stage 4 in the Glarus region: Segnespass - Martinsmad

Stage 4 of the Segnes Trek begins with a spectacular descent into the Glarus region before the path calms and gently leads through the mountain landscape. The Tschingelhörner with their famous Martinsloch greet you from behind – this time from a new perspective!

A highlight: Alp Tschinglen at 1482 m. Here, the Tschinglen-Wirtschaft invites you to a cozy stop while the old barns tell stories of the past. The clear stream nearby is the perfect spot for a well-deserved break before continuing.

The ascent to Martinsmadhütte (about 500 meters elevation gain) is rocky and demanding (T3), but the effort is worth it! The SAC mountain hut is a small gem – lovingly furnished and embedded in a breathtaking mountain backdrop.
