Description
From Flims, you climb on the mountain road via Fidaz up to Berghaus Bargis and then head into the impressive high plateau. The initially well-ridable road becomes increasingly steeper and rougher, then turns into a singletrail, and finally even the strongest mountain bikers push their bikes uphill. At Fuorcla Raschaglius, at 2551 meters above sea level, the ascent is largely completed.
Now begins the fantastic singletrail section. On the well-ridable path, you pass the rocky high valley at the foot of Piz Segnas, reach the ridge at La Siala, and make an extensive break here at the latest. Opposite, the impressive tectonic layers can now be seen, and far above in the Tschingelhörner, the well-known Martinsloch is also visible.
Now begins the descent back to Flims. For this, you head down to the Segnas plain, later reach the Segnes hut, and then descend via the well-known Nagens Trail to the hamlet of Runca. The final section of this phenomenal route then leads back to Flims on the Runca Trail.
Information:
This route is very demanding and is only suitable for very experienced singletrail riders. The bike route also includes some pushing and carrying sections totaling at least 1:30 hours.
