Seerücken route (Siegershausen – Arbon)

From Siegershausen, the Seerücken route leads over Illighausen and past the idyllic Emerzer pond to Langrickenbach. The following forest areas provide cool shade on hot days, and in the Romanshorn forest there is also a forest tavern where you can wonderfully quench your thirst from cycling.

It continues through the heart of Mostindien: The extremely fruit tree-rich area around Egnach is a wonderful sight, especially during the fruit tree blossom in spring. Meanwhile, the destination, Lake Constance, gets ever closer and finally you reach the cool water at the harbor in Arbon. In the small town by the lake, a visit to the historical museum in the castle is worthwhile, which offers an exciting journey through 5,500 years of settlement history on Lake Constance. And vintage car fans head to the Saurer Museum directly on the lake: there, commercial vehicles and embroidery machines that were once made here are exhibited.
