Seerücken route

Always close to the High Rhine, the Seerücken route leads from Schaffhausen first through the Scharenwald to Diessenhofen. Through the plain of the Geisslibach, you then reach Stammheim in Zurich canton, and near Nussbaumen a short detour to the three lakes of the Seebachtal is worthwhile. It continues over Herdern and Homburg, finally passing near the highest point of the Seerücken. Before Wäldi, the hamlet Hohenrain follows, and then you arrive at Siegershausen.

From Siegershausen, the Seerücken route leads over Illighausen to Langrickenbach. It continues through the heart of Mostindien: The extremely fruit-tree-rich area around Egnach is especially beautiful during the fruit tree blossom in spring. Meanwhile, the destination, Lake Constance, comes ever closer, and finally you reach the cool water at the harbor in Arbon.
