Scuol – Pazos – Vastur – Chauennas (circular route)

From Scuol hospital towards Sent to the signpost for Pazos. The path turns left and passes a farm after two hairpin bends. Follow this road further to Pazos. From here the route continues uphill following the signposts towards Vastur. Across snow-covered flat moors the farm and restaurant Vastur are soon reached as the highest point of the hike. The view ranges from the tripoint in the southeast over Sent, the Lower Engadine Dolomites of the Sesvenna and Pisoc Groups to Scuol and Tarasp and far towards Guarda and Lavin. From Vastur, descend in two hairpin bends to the entrance of the Val da Muglins, turn right here and return via Chauennas to the starting point at the hospital in Scuol.

Alternatively, at Val da Muglins the path straight ahead to Sent can be chosen and from there take the PostBus to Scuol (stop Clozza).
