From Haggenegg, you have a magnificent view over the valley basin of Schwyz and Brunnen, see Lake Lauerz and Lake Lucerne as well as the Rigi. It is worthwhile to take a seat on the sun terrace of the mountain inn Haggenegg. Along the Haggenspitz, the route passes Alp Zwüschet-Mythen on the flank of the Kleine Mythen and continues to Holzegg. Along the way, you also pass the steep rock face of the Great Mythen and thus reach Holzegg. Up to Müsliegg or Alp Zwäcken, you now hike on the Schwyzer 7-Egg path. With constant ups and downs, you reach Furggelenstock, a first viewpoint. From the peak, it goes to Alp Furggelen and from there via Stockhütte and Amselspitz towards Einsiedeln. From Amselspitz, you descend to Einsiedeln. Einsiedeln is the most important Marian pilgrimage site in Switzerland with an impressive monastery complex. The pre-alpine high valley landscape of Einsiedeln, located in the heart of Central Switzerland, is excellent for hikers. The impressive center of Einsiedeln and destination of countless pilgrims is the mentioned Baroque monastery complex from the 18th century. The Benedictine monastery has a history of about a thousand years. Since the Middle Ages, the site with its "Black Madonna" is one of the most important pilgrimage sites in Europe. The Way of St. James also passes through the Einsiedeln area.
