SchweizMobil 33: Charterhouse-Prince’s Country Route Stage 1

After a stroll through the charming streets of Stein am Rhein, you enter the Zurich Wine Country, past the cozy, flower-decorated timber-framed houses in Stammheim. The idyllic Nussbaumer Lakes, small natural paradises, are without outflows, so-called dead ice lakes.

Soon the Ittingen Charterhouse invites you to refresh and rest before crossing the Thur to Frauenfeld, the capital of Thurgau. The route winds up and down through gently rolling landscape until Wil.
