SchweizMobil 2: Rhine Route stage 6 (Kreuzlingen - Schaffhausen)

From Kreuzlingen, the first part of this stage runs along the Untersee past Gottlieben and Ermatingen. With a detour to the elevated Arenenberg, you can especially enjoy the breathtaking view. This probably also fascinated Napoleon III, when he settled here. Don't miss a visit to the Napoleon Museum here.

The route continues to Stein am Rhein. The small town with its colorfully painted facades around the town hall square attracts many tourists every year.

Finally, the route now runs along the northern Rhine bank to the stage destination Schaffhausen. You are already greeted from afar by the Munot, the fortress which towers above the city of Schaffhausen.
