Scenic hike to Hoher Hirschberg

The route choice at the beginning of the hike would be easier. However, the detour via the Gais viewpoint Hohegg is worth it. Views are the main theme of this hike: From the Hoher Hirschberg, the Alpstein panorama is magnificent. The path leads variedly past reed and moor areas, crosses root systems in the Schachen forest, and goes over lush meadows in Strahlhütten and Mendle.
