Scenic hike from Grindelwald First over Bachalpsee to Faulhorn

This hike impresses with magnificent views of the Schreckhorn group and the catchment area of the two Grindelwald glaciers. A deep blue mountain lake in which the mighty peaks of the Bernese four-thousanders are reflected makes this route particularly attractive.

From First, a well-developed hiking trail leads gently up and down to the shore of the idyllic Bachalpsee. From there, the path rises on the so-called mule track towards Burgihütte. Passing small shelters, you reach Gassenboden. It continues to the final destination with some switchbacks - the Berghotel Faulhorn.
