Description
The Rossberg became tragically famous on September 2, 1806. From here, 40 million m3 of Nagelfluh fell down onto the village of Goldau, burying 450 people. With a short detour from the Wildspitz, you can still visit the impressive site today. After a well-earned rest in the summit restaurant with panoramic views to the south, a varied ride begins on panoramic high-altitude paths and rocky trails down to the Halsegg mountain inn. The second part of the descent includes both flowing meadow trails and technical forest trails. A sporty and historically interesting tour with panoramic mountain restaurants along the way.
