San Lucio - Denti della Vecchia

From Tesserete follow the road above the Cassarate river to Maglio di Colla. Head to Certara, there is less traffic on the last part of the road. In the village ride straight into the forest and keep left at the barrier. The forest road becomes steeper here and leads to Passo San Lucio via La Corte. The last 200m to the pass are the steepest, but the are two restaurants waitig at the top. Enjoy the views from the pass, have a drink or some food.

Ride the trail south around Monte Cucco to Bochetta di San Bernado. Enter the forest and follow the trail via Cima alla Bianca all the way to the Capanna Pairola. The also offer food and drinks at this beaujtiful place. Ride the lond trail westwards. Like the trail before it is mostly flowy, some rocks and roots here and there, not too difficult...it takes you below the Denti della Vecchia rock formation.

Once you arrive in Villa Luganese navigate north, direction Tesserete. One last challenging trail will take you down a small canyon, you´ll find a short section with some tight switchbacks and stairs here. Cross the bridge and push your bike back up 50m on the other side. From here it is only a short distance back to Tesserete where the ride started.
