Samnaun-Compatsch – Tschoccas (W2)

Starting from the church St. Jakobus in Samnaun-Compatsch (1,699 m above sea level) the hike begins on the left up to Vaidum and then on to Tschoccas. First the path meanders through the larch forest via Samnaun-Compatsch and then over the open terrain with views of Samnaun-Laret and the Samnaun valley with Piz Ot and Piz Rots at the end of the valley. The walk ends in the forest at Urezza (1,860 m above sea level). Take the same path to return to Samnaun-Compatsch. Attention: this path also serves as a ski slope which is used especially in the late afternoon (valley descent to Samnaun-Compatsch).
