Safiental Rock Tunnel Route

Description
The start is the small village of Versam. You roll almost exclusively on the little-trafficked main road into the Safien valley. Don’t forget to pack a bike light because you have to pass through a roughly 1.8 kilometer long road tunnel. But no, we didn’t call it the rock tunnel route for that reason. You experience this on the opposite side in a wonderful way. Starting from the Egschi reservoir, you first ride slightly uphill via a beautiful forest road – and indeed, through these romantic rock tunnels. The trail becomes narrow for about 300 meters and the bike should be pushed at one point. Otherwise, the route is not difficult. Even (e)-bikers with little technical skill enjoy riding here.
From Parstogn to the Versamer Tobel, pure trail fun awaits. The roughly one kilometer long natural flowtrail is really great fun and is good and smooth to ride for most people. Now you have to return to Versam village. But yes, you can manage these 180 meters of elevation gain in about 20 minutes.
If you arrive by train, you have to add almost 300 meters of elevation after the start and ride up the station street to the village. Basically, you can also take the post bus to the Egschi stop in the Safien valley. This would make this round an easy enduro experience route.
