S-chanf - Alp Griatschouls

The starting point is the S-chanf railway station. From there, the trail leads through the houses of S-chanf, over the railway track and up to point 1690. Below the rocks of La Sassa, the trail follows the slope to one of the most beautiful panoramic benches in the Engadin. From there the view extends to the Piz da la Margna near Maloja and the Val Trupchun and the National Park. The trail continues to climb past Alp Laret into the forest. The trail then branches off to the left to Alp Griatschouls, which is just above the tree line. The descent leads past gnarled pines and lingonberry bushes until it joins the gravel road. Afterwards, you reach S-chanf and the starting point again.
