Description
In the village of Walzenhausen, winter and spring come together: towards the valley, the meadows are bare, and a gentle breeze blows, but uphill there is still snow. Otherwise, the hike, which partly runs over St. Gallen territory, is varied: it leads to a ruin from the 15th century, passes vineyards, and touches the Innerrhoden territorial area with the Grimmenstein Monastery. But above all, it offers wide views: of Lake Constance, the Rhine Valley, and beyond.
