Route Somtgant – Tigignas (Savognin)

In the mountains, the meadows are not simply green in summer. Rather, they shine in all colors. Countless blossoms then delight the eye and caress the nose with their scent. The flower diversity is especially abundant on Piz Martegnas near Savognin. The alpine flora trail Savognin runs through a colorful and fragrant sea of flowers. The themed trail is just under 1.5 km long, has hardly any elevation differences, and can also be accessed with a stroller. The route is equipped with around 120 information signs including photos and species names of the wild plants in the area. In this way, even laypeople can become familiar with rare beauties such as the gentian, the fly orchid, or the broad-leaved marsh orchid.
