Route Arosa – Maran

Arosa offers many reasons to visit even in the snow-free seasons with over 60 kilometers of hiking trails. On the approximately 1.4 km long and family-friendly stretch of the Squirrel Route, as the name suggests, we repeatedly encounter the adorable rodents. And they are not shy at all, not immediately disappearing into the next treetop when we approach them. Children can easily observe and feed the furry animals. Additionally, we are accompanied by the story of Emilie and Erich Squirrel, which is spread over ten panels to read. Against hunger, there are plenty of cozy spots to rest and to roast a sausage over the fire. Those who prefer a roof over their heads will find a restaurant with a playground for the little ones to let off some steam at the end of the approximately 30-minute hike. The Squirrel Route is accessible with a stroller and is a memorable experience for all animal lovers. Those who simply want to enjoy nature and the beautiful landscape will get their money's worth on this excursion.
