Description

The tour starting and ending in Burgdorf begins steeply with the ride over the beautiful viewpoint Lueg. Past the Emmental show cheesery in Affoltern, where perhaps a short drink break at the fountain is taken, the route continues over the hills. The next beautiful viewpoint is located on the Schonegg near Sumiswald, where on clear days the entire Bernese Alps range can also be admired. The next seven kilometers are challenging, but the ride up to the Lüderenalp is rewarded with breathtaking views. The descent down the tight curves to Trubschachen flies by quickly. After a small refreshment from the Kambly Experience, the route heads back into the hilly landscape, over the Rämisgummen to Eggiwil. In Röthenbach, the tour passes the famous Würzbrunnen chapel, over the Ryfersegg to Signau. After a short detour into the lively village of Langnau, the ascent to the Moosegg viewpoint balcony begins again. Over Arni and Obergoldbach, the route slowly descends back towards Burgdorf.

The tour can be shortened as desired and is not signposted.
