Rigi Bildstöckli Way

Attention summit climbers. The Rotstock offers a magnificent 360° panoramic view, which many find even more fascinating than the view from the Rigi Kulm summit. In addition to the Alpine panorama and the view of the Swiss Plateau, a summit section of the Queen of the Mountains can also be seen. The two railway lines of the Rigi railways appear under your feet like a model landscape.

The ascent from Kaltbad passes through pleasant forest areas and is lined with 14 small crucifix stations. At the Rotstock, rest benches amid a beautiful meadow of flowers invite you to rest at the summit. A short descent then continues to Rigi Staffel, where the train lines from Vitznau and Goldau meet.
