Description

On one of Europe's largest rivers, you can enjoy a special cultural journey. A unique density of sights line the banks of the Rhine between Lake Constance and Rhine Falls.

Starting in the thousand-year-old Stein am Rhein, considered one of Switzerland's most beautiful and best-preserved medieval old towns. You now glide pleasantly on the crystal-clear water, carried by the current, past historic houses, monasteries, and fortifications. Interrupted only by charming nature and inviting bathing beaches. Numerous restaurants directly on the water provide culinary delights. Most of them have their own landing stages.

In the arrival town of Schaffhausen, a stroll through the old town alleys is also recommended. Finally, you can climb up to the old fortress, the Munot, and enjoy the view over the Rhine once again. Or you can make a detour to the Rhine Falls. Twenty-three meters plunge the water masses into the depths, offering an impressive natural spectacle.
