Rasthysi Trail W6

From Grindelwald you can follow the trail in the direction of Mühlebach to ascend up to Bort on the winter hiking trail. To shorten the route a little, you can also take the gondola of the First Aerial Cableway up to the Bort middle station. The trail continues along the signposted winter hiking trail, mostly through forests, to the Rasthysi Restaurant. Between the trees you can catch a glimpse of the impressive panorama with the Eiger as the centrepiece. The trail gently ascends and descends until it finally reaches the Bussalp, where you can relax on the sunny terrace before returning to Grindelwald by sledge (they can be hired right at the Bussalp) on foot or by bus.
