Description
The circular route is called Raetica Classica Patgifica for a reason. For centuries, all these regions belonged to the Free State of the Three Leagues, the predecessor state of Graubünden.
The route combines scenic and cultural highlights, to name but a few: the beautiful Upper Engadin lake landscape, the largest chestnut forest in Europe, the Valtellina wine-growing region and the imposing mountain world around the Bernin Pass with its glaciers.
Patgifica - the art of enjoyment, the stages are longer so that you have more time to enjoy the different regions to the full.
Stages:
Stage 1: St. Moritz - Vicosoprano
Stage 2: Vicosoprano - Chiavenna
Stage 3: Chiavenna - Morbegno
Stage 4: Morbegno - Tirano
Stage 5: Tirano - Poschiavo
Stage 6: Poschiavo - St. Moritz
