Description

At the starting point of the hike, Place centrale (central square), take the forest road towards Bois Raiguel. Follow the brown signpost of the mountain inn (Métairie), as this section is (still) not marked as a hiking trail. Down a forest road, it goes to Bois Raiguel. Here, the signpost indicates the further route to the Pont des Anabaptistes. The route climbs to the right through a meadow and then down through forest, yellow diamonds on fir trees facilitate orientation. After the forest, briefly across meadows and briefly through a gorge, then the Pont des Anabaptistes, the Anabaptist Bridge, appears. This was a secret meeting place of the Anabaptists, who were persecuted by the Bernese government from 1528 and were only allowed to settle within the area of influence of the Bishop of Basel above 1000 meters above sea level. Panels provide explanations about this historic place. The continuation of the hike leads briefly through forest and over a meadow up to la Cuisinière. From here the signpost shows Petite Douanne. Initially on hard surface, later uphill over a field path and again over meadows and through forest, you reach Petite Douanne via Le Pletz. The next intermediate destination on the signposts is Métairie du Milieu de Bienne. After a section on hard surface, you climb through a meadow to Métairie du Milieu de Bienne. In the direction of Métairie de Prêles and Les Prés-d’Orvin, again over meadows and down through forest, you reach Hacki. Here begins the last ascent to Clédar de Pierrefeu, where you orient yourself at the signpost Chasseralkamm Pt. 1288. On the ridge in a typical Jura landscape with meadows with individual conifer trees, you return to Place centrale (central square).
