Starting from the sun at the Altersheim Stadtgarten, the closest planets to the sun – Mercury, Venus, Earth, and Mars – are positioned along the Reutenenbach at short intervals. The path continues through the Rüegerholz to Jupiter and then over the Philosophenweg with its characteristic natural embankments and city vineyards to Saturn. The section to Uranus passes by the Försterhaus through the Altholz and offers insights into the quiet beauty of the forest. For the return journey, descend into the valley and along the Murg to the furthest planets from the sun: Neptune and Pluto. Here, the power of water and its early use by humans are impressively visible. At Königswuhr, very close to the city, the planetary circuit ends.
