Planet Trail Ringgenberg

The Ringgenberg Planet Trail is a unique model that represents the planets from the center in two directions.

It conveys an easy-to-understand idea of the size relationships in our solar system. At a scale of 1:1 billion, the size of the sun and the planets is shown along a distance of 12 km, as well as the distance of the planets from the sun.

One millimeter actually corresponds to one thousand kilometers, and the normal walking speed becomes approximately five times the speed of light.

Additionally, you will be accompanied on your way by a great view of nature, mountains, and lake. 

This route is accessible all year round and can easily be walked with a stroller.
