Piz Clünas – descent to Ftan

From the end of the Clünas chairlift (approx. 2500 m), circumvent the rocks of P. 2678 southwest and ascend via the southeast slope to the summit.

Variant: Mot da Ri mountain station

From the Mot da Ri chairlift mountain station (2582 m) in a southwesterly direction through the large hollow into Fuorcla Clünas and via the north ridge to the summit (total: 30 min for 210 m ascent).

Descent

Return on the ascent routes to the ski area or more rewarding via Plütschessa to Ftan: From the summit over the west flank into the hollow of Lai da Minschun (2642 m). Here southwards over P. 2483, passing the avalanche barriers on the left, down through the hollow of Plütschessa to Clünas and towards the southwest via Truoi da Joccas to Plan Mundanaira (1893 m). Follow the summer path through a forest clearing southeastwards to Ftan (1634 m). Difficulty: WS.
