Description
From the PostAuto stop Vnà, Jalmèr the village is crossed and the forest road is followed towards Val Sinestra. After about a kilometer, the forest road branches off to the right. On an alpine road, the path leads through the forest up to Alp Pradatsch. After the alp, the forest slowly clears, the path turns right after about 300m and then rises rapidly. Always along the flat ridge, the path leads uphill over the pastures. The summit is visible only shortly before the goal, where the path winds through the rocks of the summit structure. Thanks to its prominent and freestanding location, the summit offers a magnificent panoramic view of the peaks and side valleys of the Lower Engadin. The return route begins on the ridge in a northern direction, with the pyramid-shaped three-thousander Muttler in view. After about 600m, the path branches off to the right at Fuorcla Pradatsch. Over open meadows, the hiking trail now descends to Marangun, which lies slightly elevated on the right side of the valley incision. From Marangun, one follows the alpine road to Alp Discholas. For the return to Vnà, first follow the alpine road and leave it after about one kilometer on the left onto a footpath, eventually reaching a lower forest path that leads directly back to the starting point Vnà.
