Photo Trail

The trail starts at Grindelwald railway station and leads up the steep Kreuzweg road. At the top, turn right onto the main Terassenweg road, from where you have a unique view of the Eiger, Wetterhorn, Mettenberg and the Fiescherlücke. After a while turn right again down the narrower Guggengasse road, where you have a beautiful panoramic view of the mountains and the village. From the church in the village the trail continues back through the village, where you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the majestic Eiger, the picturesque Kleine Scheidegg and the imposing Männlichen at the Eiger+ terrace. To round things off, a short loop invites you to stroll past Truffersbrunnen and admire the panorama of the Grindelwald terminal while admiring the idyllic "Wärgistal" on the opposite side of the valley with its fields, meadows and characteristic chalets.
