Pfingstegg - Schreckhornhut - Pfingstegg no. 28

The hut path to the Schreckhornhut is varied and spectaculary scenic. Wire ropes secure the most difficult sections. The path can be dangerous during heavy rainfalls. The streams can swell quickly. The path starts at Pfingstegg. From the village, you can take the gondola up to Pfingstegg. On the way up you pass the Bäregg guesthouse, located at 1772 m. Up to the Bäregg mountain guesthouse, it is a mountain hiking trail. From Bäregg, the path is marked white-blue-white: thus, an alpine hiking trail. Partly the path leads over artificial steps and chains.
