Description
The Passo Gallo tour is one of the highlights of Münstertal and combines the super trail from Passo Gallo with the return trip through the Val Mora.From Sta. Maria, ride along the marked bicycle route to the Ofenpass, optionally also by the postal bus. Immediately behind the pass, it leads into the single trail to Buffalora, where the steep ascent to Juf Plaun begins. The plateau is the starting point for the single trail descent past the Alpe del Gallo and for the wonderful ridge trail in the direction of Passo di Fraéle. Shortly before the Passo di Fraéle, branch off to the left, passing the Passo Val Mora - from here it extends over a first-class single trail to the Val Mora and rises to Döss Radond. Here the long descent back to Sta. Maria commences. Follow the sign-posted mountain bike route, but take wherever possible the single trail alternatives. Once the back of the mountain has been reached far below, a single trail loops away to the right. This entertaining path leads directly to the main road between Valchava and Sta. Maria - a true grand finale at the end.
