Description
From Zäziwil station initially into the village center and, following the road valley inward, to the wooded ridge of Buelebeg. A narrow path leads very steeply up to the edge of the forest. Along the way a beautiful view back over the village of Zäziwil (the name is interpreted as a settlement of the Alemannic Zazo) to the Stockhorn. When leaving the forest, the forested summit of Blasenflue is directly ahead. Now the path first descends to the houses of Chäneltal. The hamlet belongs to the extensive municipality of Oberthal, located on both sides of the Zäzibach, which as a distinct single-farm area has no actual center. With slight ups and downs, the path leads in a marked road loop to the houses of Längibach and then, alternately on driving and forest roads, up to Blasenflue. The formerly excellent viewpoint is increasingly enclosed by forest. However, beautiful views into the Napf mountain region, to Langnau, and to the Upper Emmental are still possible. The descent along the wooded slope edge to the Waldhäusern inn is quite rough. The view from the inn towards Churzenberg, the Rämisgummen area, and the summit range of the Pre-Alps and Alps is almost limitless. The nearby Hotel Moosegg also offers a delightful view of the hilly landscape of the Emmental. The further path to Hinter Längholz deserves the designation "panorama trail." Only the asphalt somewhat detracts from this enjoyment. Pleasant, on the other hand, is the descent past the Burgchnubel farmstead to the Unter Burg farm and then to Lauperswil. The building group of the church, parsonage with vicarage, and oven house is listed in the inventory of cultural properties of national significance. The Emme riverbank is reached on level path. The walk along the riverbank path to Zollbrück is relaxing.
