On the way from the Gönhardwald to the Suhrerchopf

From the old town, you go through the green Gönhard district to the Keba artificial ice rink, past the "stony table" (start and finish of the Vitaparcours), and the tree nursery with the Häxehüsli. The path then continues, slowly ascending towards "Länzi" and steeply up to the Suhrerchopf (465 meters above sea level) with a fountain, bench, fire pits, and a wonderful view of the Suhren and Wynental valleys. Afterwards, you can hike back to Aarau on an alternative route. The path leads through the Gönhard estates with their impressive parks.

As a shortcut, there is the option at Distelberg to take the tram back to Aarau.
