On the banks of the Rom

The themed trail “A la riva dal Rom” in Val Müstair is a carefree hiking experience. After just a few meters in Süsom Tschierv, you stand at the source of the Rom.  It feeds a rapidly widening stream that runs through marshy terrain to the district of Orasom Tschierv. In the distillery, you can also try a high-proof spirit. The path comfortably continues on a wide trail along the Rom, then climbs steeply – the view over the whole Münstertal is the reward for the ascent. It goes downhill to Valchava with idyllic rest areas by the stream. Passing rocks directly along the streambed, stroll to Sta. Maria. The last kilometers to the Italian border can be managed easily without inclines.
