Description
The route starts at Nussbaumen and leads over embedded field paths through fields and forests of the wide plain. You stroll through the most beautiful landscape and soon reach the three lakes. Many dreamlike spots are hidden along the natural shores inviting you to rest and relax in the fresh air.
It is an ideal route to recharge and enjoy the tranquility. In some places, you discover small romantic jetties that jut out of the water. On a hill at the edge of Lake Hüttwilersee, you can spot the majestic ruins of a former Roman fort. Shortly thereafter, a breathtaking view over the Thur valley in Warth opens up.
The final highlight is the Kartause Ittingen. The area of the former monastery offers a fitting end to the route, whether comfortably in the restaurant or with a tour of the enchanting gardens of the estate. A detour to the converted monastery is definitely worth it. The Kartause offers something for every taste. Note: Barrier-free path
