Nahtour 3 St.Gallen - Old Routes

Old traffic routes have shaped the development of the city. The hike leads along the old country road from the old town through the suburb to the countryside. It lets you feel the slopes under your soles and encourages you to observe the path through meadows or to contemplate the city in the landscape. Along the way are the old site of the Notkersegg monastery and the Kapf with a magnificent view of Lake Constance. It then continues past the Wenigerweier to the Vögelinsegg battlefield in the "Loch".
