Description
You reach the starting point on the mountain by cable car. After a few meters in altitude you reach the Grauberg, once at the top the lower Segnesboden lies at your feet and you have an unobstructed view of the Tschingelhörner. After a short descent the lower Segensboden, a flat moor of national importance, is partially circled before going uphill towards Segnespass. On the way to the upper Segensboden you have perfect views of the famous Martinsloch. Once the extensive and surprisingly flat upper Segensboden is circled, the last short ascent of the day awaits you. The barren high alpine landscape with the 3000-meter peaks is unique. From the point "Fuorcla Raschaglius" at 2561 m it goes 1000 meters continuously downhill through the unique high valley Bargis. Look into the mountain slopes, perhaps you can observe chamois and ibex. Marmots also belong to the inhabitants of the high valley. At La Rusna you can take a short detour to the Cathedral, a waterfall that is also often visited as a power spot.
