Mühletobel Forest Educational Trail

The starting point at Salomonshölzli is reachable on foot in 20 minutes from Frauenfeld station. On a narrow path, it goes along the left side of the Mühletobel stream at the forest edge. The path then enters the shady mixed forest, loses some height, and crosses the naturally preserved stream at this point.

The path stays briefly in the small valley before reaching the street from Obholz to Oberherten via some steps. Then it continues first along the forest edge and then back into the forest. After crossing some forest paths and the street to Dingenhart, you finally reach Stählibuck with its observation tower. At 27 meters high, it is a sporty challenge for everyone who wants to climb its 148 steps. The reward for the effort is a fantastic panoramic view.
