Description
On this route between Weinfelden and Kreuzlingen, you always travel on the Pilgrim Route, which runs close to the Jakobs Pilgrim Way between Konstanz and Einsiedeln. From Weinfelden, the route leads with a short climb to Berg and via Alterswilen to the Bommer Weiher. This beautiful wetland landscape is a valuable habitat for amphibians, reptiles, and dragonflies. Then continue towards Lake Constance. A short detour to the Kreuzlingen district of Bernrain is worthwhile. There you will find the planetarium with an observatory, as well as Chocolat Bernrain AG with its factory shop. Finally, you pass the Rosenegg Museum before reaching the destination, Kreuzlingen train station. Rental bikes can be returned there. For a cultural conclusion, you can visit the lake museum or the St. Ulrich monastery church. And you can relax in the versatile Seeburg Park, all close to the train station.
