Description

The intermediate destination Moron is marked at the starting point of the hike and twice more along the route: once with Moron/sommet (= summit) in official yellow, also in brown with "La Tour de Moron". After a few steps, the railway tracks must be crossed. Ascending, you reach Rue de Bel Air and the road to Saules. This must be crossed. Now it goes downhill to the stream la Trame and uphill again to Loveresse. On winding streets you traverse the village and reach the forest over a meadow. La Bergerie de Loveresse is reached on a pleasantly walkable forest path. Soon the route is joined by Chemin du Jura Bernois 91 from Wanderland Switzerland, marked up to Moutier. The following section on a roadway and a grass path up to Moron resembles a ridge trail. The tower beckons with a panoramic view that should definitely not be missed. Panorama panels confirm: countless peaks can be seen in clear visibility conditions. Mentioned are: Säntis, Schesaplana, Belchen(D), Hartmannswillerkopf, Mont Blanc. Also visible are Eiger, Mönch, Jungfrau, Niesen or Stockhorn, all peaks that will be encountered several times when reading this book. For the summit break, a rest area with a fire pit is suitable. Now the signposting shows Moutier. The hike continues alternately on roads, over meadows and through forests. At Pré du Haut de la Charrière, turn left. Before Perrefite, you reach the main road to Moutier. Bus stop signs of the PostBus line Souboz – Moutier offer to take public transport to the Moutier station. The last stretch of the hike to the goal leads to the roundabout, then over residential streets and briefly on footpaths.
