Mineral water trail – «senda d'aua minerala Scuol: bügl e funtana»

The mineral water trail «bügl e funtana», which leads to springs with connected fountains, starts at Scuol-Tarasp train station towards the Trü sports facilities. Afterwards, you reach the first typical Engadin houses and are soon in the old village part of Scuol above the Stradun. Here, you reach the village fountain Plazzetta, where you can taste mineral water for the first time. After tasting the mineral water from the Vi spring, continue on the cobblestones to the Clozza stream. After crossing, the mineral water trail leads up past the hospital. At a fork in the road, choose the path to Sent, where soon another junction appears and you turn right again. There awaits the Sotsass spring with a nice spot. Afterwards, the mineral water trail leads back to the hospital and branches upwards. Now it goes into the Clozza gorge between rocks, where the trail is partly exposed. Once you reach the stream below, you see a device with a cover. Underneath is the Clozza spring. Feel free to open the cover and activate the light switch. The water can be tasted further downstream at the Squirrel fountain. Refreshed with Clozza water, continue past the retirement home up to the Vi spring in the new village part of Scuol. The iron-rich spring is near the neighborhood street. Finally, the path leads back to the train station. Shortly before reaching it, you can observe the Chalzina Sura spring in its natural state.
